Children's Faith Formation

Our Children's Faith Formation team (catechists, co-catechists and helpers) shares the Good News with the children of our parish who do not attend Catholic school.

Our Four Fundamental Pillars are:

1) Knowledge: That child learns in each session to know Jesus. 2) Prayer: Make prayer a part of the daily life of the child and through it creates a relationship of friendship with God. Start to pray the prayers of the Church. 3) Celebration: Recognize that Sunday is the day of the Lord and the Church, that they participate in the Sunday Mass not only as an obligation, but as a necessity and that they learn to know Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. 4) Experience / Application: to understand that Catechesis (catechism) is a path where one begins to know Jesus and learns to live as a Christian, a follower of Jesus.

Class Schedules:

The English classes are on Sunday afternoons during school year, from 12:30pm to 1:30 pm (This schedule may be changed each year). Spanish classes are held on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Catechists prepare for and lead the weekly classes, using provided texts and materials. We are always in shortage of catechists to fill up these classes. If you are knowledgeable about the Catholic faith, register to be a teacher of faith for our children.
